Our 10-year Anniversary Campaign
Ten years ago, Sat Singh organised a community group in a local fast food restaurant with young people from East London, to bring them hope and aspiration for the future.
Now celebrating ten years of existence, and having turned into a mature, creative and impactful charity, Renaissance Foundation launched at the start of 2017 its 10-year Anniversary Campaign. The goal is to raise money for the next ten years and help the charity achieve its ambitious growth plans.
The campaign consists of various fundraising initiatives aimed at individuals and organisations, and a series of events offered to all supporters of the charity.
We have ambitious plans to grow to respond to the increasing demand for our services
Our aim over the next five-year period is to increase the annual intake from each of our three groups of young carers, young hospital patients transitioning from child care to adult care and school pupils at risk to 60, leading to over 350 active service users by 2022. The encouraging feedback we regularly receive from our partners in hospitals, schools and young carers organisations reflects the urgent need for our services and the substantial positive impact that our programme has on the three communities. This shows that an expansion of our programme delivery is needed. This will require investment in our team, which will be leveraged over time.
The Founder Friends Programme
As part of its 10-year Anniversary Campaign, the charity has launched a new fundraising scheme called the Founder Friends programme. Its aim is to unite a tight group of resourceful and inspired individuals and organisations who will not only provide a platform for investment but will also give advice, encourage and represent Renaissance Foundation. Our target is to raise at least 10 contributions of £15,000 for at least a year over 2017-2018.

The Founder Friends programme provides a unique opportunity to be at the heart of the charity's future. The community of Founder Friends will typically benefit from:
- Exclusive invitations to attend two of our most prestigious visits with our young people. This can include special access to Wimbledon, a night at the BBC Proms backstage, or privileged access to Formula 1 circuit, as an example.
- Accreditation on our website and other ad-hoc communications.
- Invitations to our regular Founder Friends lunches or dinners to update you on the charity's progress.
- Exclusive news updates by letter and email.
It is also possible for individuals to get involved in other ways, including by contributing lower levels of financial commitment. For more information on the Founder Friends Programme, please contact Marie Paglinghi at firstname.lastname@example.org.
