Prof Geir Lundestad Retired Nobel Peace Institute Secretary hosts Renaissance Foundation Young leaders in the Nobel Committee meeting room at the Nobel Peace Institute in Oslo

Prof Geir Lundestad Kindly hosted young leaders from the Renaissance Foundation, and spoke with them about their visit to the Nobel activities during their Youth exchange.
He also asked the young people about their views on peace and how they can apply Peace in their everyday lives at home with their communities and schools.

It was a facinating oppertunity to understand more about the Nobel Peace Prize and how the committee works and it's selection process and eligiability criteria for nominations, the young people were also able to select out some of the well known inspirational winners from the committee room walls.

HRH Crown Prince Haakon Speaks with Renaissance Foundation Young leaders following Nobel Peace Prize in Oslo Norway, about their visit and experiance in Norway. 

HRH Crown Prince Haakon kindly made time to speak with our young leaders during their visit to Oslo for the Nobel Peace Prize and Norwegian youth exchange. Crown Prince Haakon shared his experience of studying in London at the London School of Economics and his affection for the UK, whilst encouraging our young people to continue to make a difference in their communities as future leaders.

Our young people where inspired from meeting Crown Prince Haakon and hearing about his work with the Global Dignity charity. After this trip they started a project to celebrate the 50th Anniversary of Nobel Peace Prize Laureate Dr Martin Luther King receiving the Nobel Peace Prize. You can see the video in this page.
