Inspirational Speakers

At the Renaissance Foundation we are always on the lookout to recruit exciting and inspirational speakers. In our work with young carers, young hospital patients and at-risk pupils, we have found that the right person, with the right message at the right time, can have an enormous impact.

That's why, in the past, we've recruited a wide range of people from the Arts, Society, Sport and Business. If you click here you'll see one of our previous participants, Sir Richard Branson who took part at his home in Oxford or Lewis Hamilton who invites our group to see him at Silverstone every year. We have experience in making it as easy for you as possible. We've spoken to Serena Williams whilst she was at Wimbledon, and with Sir Ben Kingsley in a London location convenient for him.

If we've reached out to you it's because we think you have an important message to share. We usually use either an interview format or a talk/discussion format, but we're also open to any ideas that you might have. Nobody knows how to tell your story better than you! If you have time to discuss your thoughts with us, give us a call on +44 (0) 20 3287 2069.

Youth Charity Talk

If you have an idea for a talk that would electrify our young people we invite you to get in touch. Our young people really benefit from hearing a lecture from some of their role models (and ours!) Above you can see Lewis who favours this format. It has allowed him to share his story with us, and also get to know some of our group.

Interview Format

In the interview format, our young people get to take on the role of journalists. They pose their own questions and get experience of what it would be like to work in the media. This is great for our speakers who don't necessarily know what they want to talk about but are happy to answer questions on their lives and their successes.
