Ready for a Summer Challenge?
Join us for the London Thames River Walk 2026 – a historic, end-of-summer celebration with something for everyone!
Choose your challenge with a Full Marathon loop, 25km through Greenwich, or a 10km stroll if you’re looking for something shorter.
Starting and finishing alongside the grandeur of Woolwich Barracks (conveniently located near the Elizabeth Line, DLR, and Overground), you’ll explore the "Gateway to London." This stunning route takes you along the Thames’s eastern section and into the heart of the Capital, passing iconic sights and hidden historic gems.
Expect a well-marked course with plenty of support, including a lively warm-up and rest stops with snacks and drinks. Celebrate your achievement at the finish line with a BBQ meal, bar, and music, plus your well-deserved medal and T-shirt!

Funding and Costs
Option 1: Full Sponsorship
Marathon: £40 registration fee + minimum £375 fundraising.
25km: £30 registration fee + minimum £275 fundraising.
10km: £20 registration fee + minimum £150 fundraising.
Option 2: Own Place Charity Fundraising
Marathon: £99 registration fee, no minimum fundraising target.
25km: £89 registration fee, no minimum fundraising target.
10km: £59 registration fee, no minimum fundraising target.
